Domande
Does the 5500/961X Silica/Phosphate analyzer use the previous calibration values to create each new calibration curve?
Sommario
How a previous calibration can impact a new calibration on a 5500 or 961X Silica or Phosphate analyzer.
Risposta
Whenever a new calibration is performed, the 5500/961X Silica/Phosphate analyzer uses the previous calibration values to help calculate a new calibration curve. If the previous calibration data is incorrect or any major components of the analyzer were replaced after a failure, for example the colorimeter assembly, it is a good idea to go back to the default factory calibration values. Once the default calibration values have been chosen, the system will not reference the previous calibration to create the new calibration curve. Instead, it will use the values from the default factory calibration.

To reset the calibration to the default factory calibration select the calibration menu and reset default cal.
