What are the Access Point Name (APN) values for the 3G cellular carriers used with Mobile Sensor Management (MSM) in the US/Canada?
Access Point Names values used with MSM
The following carriers are known to work with the (Product # LZY971) 3G modem kit with the SC1500, DR3900, and DR6000 (*):
AT&T APN = broadband
AT&T prepaid APN = NXTGENPHONE
T-Mobile APN = epc.tmobile.com
Rogers (Canada) APN = internet.com (also requires username = wapuser1, and password = wap)
Telenor APN = internet.lte.cxn
*These APN settings also work in the SC4200c controller.
The Verizon 3G CDMA modem kit (Product # LZY995) works with the SC1500 (does not work on DR3900 or DR6000), does not use a SIM card, and must be connected to a Laptop/PC to be configured using the MultiTech Connection Manager Utility:
Verizon APN (**) = internet
** The SC4200c controller is not directly Verizon compatible at this time. However, it would be possible to connect the SC4200c controller to a 3rd party Verizon compatible cellular router using the LAN cable (Product # LZY990)
